Clear glass platter with copper inclusion, and raised hand grips.
 
Suitable as a decorative centrepiece or as a large cheese, antipasto or sushi plate. Measures 350mm in diameter and 8mm in thickness.
 
The copper inclusion is fused between two sheets of glass, during firing the copper reacts to the heat and changes colour giving the varied shades apparent in the photos. Each piece is fired twice, first to fuse the glass sheets together and then to 'slump' the glass into the desired form.
