I love receiving commissions, it gives me an opportunity bring other people's ideas to life and to explore new methods and techniques. Recently I was asked to create a wedding gift with a personalised message. I explored several options for achieving the desired result with the client, etching, engraving, screen printing and enamelling. I completed a series of samples to demonstrate the different results and we decided on which method best suited her vision. I think the result is beautiful and a wonderful way to give someone and enduring message that they will enjoy every day.
